After you have seen the paintings of one of my favourite artists Gustave Adolphe Mossa (1883 - 1971) you might already have recognized that his work remembers you a little bit on the one of Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918). In fact they are both important artists of the symbolism in the 1880s/90s and while having a look on his work in the following images the Art Gallery Nolden features an online exhibiton 'Provocative Openness' which shows some nude studies of Gustav Klimt covering the period from 1888 to 1912.
