Beauty. Her perception and thousand secrets to uphold human's beauty has been a fascinating interest ever since. Even the ancient Egyptians and their powerful female leaders already were concerned with their appearance and the concept of beauty whose ideals changed over and over again in mankind's history. With the invention of photography in the 19th century artists and aesthetes could draw in a revolutionary way their perception of beauty through the new medium of photography and with it leaving irreplaceable traces of different perceptions of beauty in the various epochs of time. Berlin's C/O gallery and their upcoming exhibition "Timeless beauty. 100 years of fashion photography from Man Ray to Mario Testino" is dedicating their space for the next 2 months to the beauty of and in fashion photography. An essence of 100 years, exhibiting original magazines including over 150 prints of past milestones like Edward Steichen, Erwin Blumenfeld, Irving Penn, Man Ray, Diane Arbus, current Greats such as Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, William Klein, Sarah Moon, Tim Walker and many many more. An incredible photographic collection that tomorrow's vernissage you should not miss !!!
